Michael Harvey (LLB) has been a partner and principal in the Upper Mt Gravatt, Brisbane law firm of Elliott & Harvey since 1977 and principal of Elliott & Harvey Solicitors, Nerang since 1993.

Michael specialises in Securities and Financial Services Law. Michael has represented numerous clients in major commercial property transactions as well as developing a large and diverse practice in the securities area. Michael has served as a director of Member Companies of Credit Union Australia, and was solicitor to Credit Union Australia, Australia’s largest credit union, for over 10 years.

Gerald Birt graduated from The University of Queensland in the early 1970’s with the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).

Gerald has many years experience, firstly working as an employed civil engineer with a major civil engineering contractor and over the last decade as managing director of his own civil engineering company and sub divisional contractor, Birt Marriott Developments Pty Ltd. 

Gerald brings enormous experience in civil engineering, construction and management to the Board.

Christopher Leslie Marriott is a Civil Engineering Contractor with extensive experience in subdivisional construction both in the residential and industrial fields.

Chris was employed by Q H & M Birt Pty Ltd in the civil construction area for 12 years during which time that Company carried out some of Queensland's largest contracts including part of the Gateway Motorway, Brisbane Airport and other large contracts.

Chris also worked extensively on contracts with the Queensland Department of Main Roads and the Roads and Traffic Authority of New South Wales.

Chris brings a wealth of experience to the Board in the abovementioned fields.

During the last 16 years Chris has been a Director and Manager of a Civil Contracting Design and Development Company.
